Cookies and local storage

The gallery uses browser local storage, which is distinct from an HTTP cookie, to remember your visual effects preference. The key teyvat-effects contains only on or off. It is not used to identify you or track your browsing.

This display choice is an interface preference. The CNIL explains the rules applicable to trackers, including exemptions for certain customisations expected as part of the service.

A card’s animation button only applies during the current browsing session. Your system’s reduced motion preference is respected without adding a persistent preference to your browser.

The publisher adds no advertising or audience measurement trackers. Hosting and security rely on Cloudflare; depending on the mechanisms enabled and the requests, technical security technologies may be involved. For information about their data processing, see the Cloudflare privacy policy. This page does not guarantee the absence of all cookies issued by the infrastructure.

The gallery’s “Holo effects” button lets you change your preference. You can also delete this site’s data in your browser settings to clear local storage. Deleting cookies alone does not always remove this storage.

After deletion, the gallery returns to its initial behaviour, subject to your device’s reduced motion setting.
